Nothing changes today

I remember paradise and my Fathers promise everytime I look into your eyes.

Decades ago I promised I would take you back to his Majesty, so he could love on his daughter once again.

Back when we had wings and would be caught in his star filled gaze, he delighted in us and what he had made.

Nothing changes today.

Almond Joy

To paint your sky late above the frozen lake
to give you new life
and let you struggle with the old.
You are an almond tree, the one blossom, the one fruit,
of all the millions
That the king hand picks and savors as his own.

Regression Therapy

When I was in fourth grade I was invited to a birthday party at a kids house that had a pool. It was summertime so naturally we were all swimming. I decided to walk on the water, and the other kids tried it too, but they couldn't and than they became angry and beat me up bruising my face and blood was coming from my nose and I couldn't breath. Forty years later and I'm just now starting to remember.

Sister Helen Preajean

I had the pleasure of meeting sister Helen Prejean at the Sacred Heart Retirement Convent in Kalmazoo Mi where she was stopping on a speaking tour. At the time I couldn't have been any deeper into my holy roller phase, at this point I was sure I was our Lord. I stood in line with book in hand (which I actually read) and waited my turn. When I introduced myself and put out my hand I said something like "Blessed are the pure of heart,  for they shall see God. She looked at me and winked saying " Who said that, You?"

My Lord

My Lord is the night jasmine that fills the nostrils in the warm summers eve.
My love is the creator of all and the origins of our manifestation.
His words are sweet to taste like berries from bushes grown by the sea.
His thoughts are more pure than a newborns first yearning.
The mist lifts from my vision and the way is
made clear.
